Hello, Land-Lovers.

Hello land-lovers
And lovers of land's abundant creatures!
Put on your walking shoes today and
Play some jaunty tunes.
You always love the time you spend outside. We know you do.

Eat well. Leafy greens from your local garden should do the trick.
Any extra cans? Donate em. Or you could
Round two of them up, attach a string to the middle, and call a friend!
Think green: Share a shower!
Hop on your bike and ride. Don't you dare drive.

Do you want to see a pic of dills celebrating the earth? Well good. Scroll down.
AhHa! make sure you remember to turn off the light when you leave the room.
Yummy snacks can be good for you AND the earth. Whip up some trail mix and a veggie tray. Hold the ranch. Just kidding.

SHOUT-OUTS:

Yo Jugg, stick to carrying around that gallon water bottle you always love. That's how a real man saves the planet!

Yo Dooms, thanks for the eco-friendly ideas!

Till next time,
D&D

Everyone Enjoys a Nice Pickle

Welcome to dillydallied!
Having you here is our cup of tea...
We thought it would be appropriate to kick off the blog with the origin of Dill.
"Dill" to us has become more than just a nickname...essentially it is a trademark. It all started one rando night  when we got buzzed. Catherine insisted on pushing Lauren into everyone she saw and subsequently introducing her with the phrase "Have you met my friend DeeDee?" Of course we got a kick out of the name DeeDee just cause of the way it sounds. I mean say it to yourself... You know what we mean.
From DeeDee, we thought of:
Rugrats.
DeeDee Pickles.
Chuckie Finster.
Stu Pickles.
and then finally Dill.
Thus Dill was born, with all of its variations: Dillan, Dillard, Dilly, Dillburr, DillyBar, DumpyDill, Fill. Fillup, Fillard, Fillian, Fillsnacks.
This was well over a year ago and we kid you not, the name has stuck. Lauren has become Dill. Catherine has become Dill. Our boyfriends don't like it. They are not Dill. They do not like it when we accidentally call them Dill.
It more than just a name...

UPDATE: As of February 27, 2011 Dill has become a widely recognized and award winning nickname. We were humbled to receive the award for best nickname at the 2011 Gonzaga Women's soccer banquet. We would like to thank all fans o' dill.
